The Land of Meer
I happen to be someone who dreams vividly almost nightly. In many of my dreams I fly, not to escape someone, but often for pleasure and travel. I found out everyone in my family has had dreams with flying. After writing down my dreams for a whole year (done immediately in the morning), I decided to weave a fantasy story from all my night time imagery.
The fictional "Land of Meer" is the result.
In progress right now, I am developing paintings, drawings, and fictional characters that will live in the Town of Rencal. The amazing thing about this land besides the fact that most villagers can fly, is that this is a matriarchal Society where women rule.
Slowly, as I add more unique fantasy imagery, I will be able to share my creative imagination with the viewer. Little stores will come, and someday they will be found in a Graphic Novel that I am working on.
This is an ongoing project with no deadline or stress to complete at any point. I will let my imagination have fun and hope my viewers will enjoy this series.
